Tax Credits for Energy Efficient Windows & Doors

 

DID YOU KNOW? - There are no federal window & door tax credits for 2012.

For 2011, windows and doors had to have been installed by December 31, 2011.

The 2011 tax credits were 10% of product cost, not including installation, up to a maximum of $200 for windows, $500 for doors.  To qualify, products must meet Energy Star u-value and SHGC levels for the region where they are installed.
